Celebrating the launch of Globalizing Sports Studies

The launch of new key series Globalizing Sports Studies was celebrated by delegates of the British Sociological Association’s annual conference recently at a special launch party. Attended by John Horne, the series editor, Simon Darnell, author of Sport for Development and Peace and many series supporters, guests enjoyed a beautiful book-shaped cake (by Patisserie 44 in Leeds).
