Dr Frances Pinter
Frances Pinter is Publisher at Bloomsbury Academic. She is developing a list of books in the areas of international political economy, science, technology and innovation, global governance and global policy.

Frances was the founder of Pinter Publishers in 1973 and Belhaven Press in 1986. In the 1990s she headed the Open Society Institute’s international publishing programme in Central & Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.

She has also acted as a consultant to Creative Commons. She has a BA in Politics from New York University and a PhD in International Relations from University College London and is currently visiting fellow at the London School of Economics. As a social/educational entrepreneur, Frances has a strong belief and commitment to providing global access to education and knowledge.
