Caroline Wintersgill
Caroline Wintersgill is Senior Commissioning Editor at Bloomsbury Academic. Her commissioning interests are in politics, sociology, cultural studies and literary studies. Since 1989 she has worked as an editor for Routledge, UCL Press, Continuum and Ashgate, in subjects including politics, sociology, social policy, philosophy, cultural studies and anthropology.

She has a BA in English Literature from Newcastle University, an MSc in Politics and Sociology from Birkbeck College, University of London and she is currently completing an MA in Contemporary Literature at the University of Winchester.

Caroline has lectured and given conference papers on both migration and academic publishing and in 1997/8 she was a member of the selection committee for the ESRC research programme on Transnational Communities. She is passionate about clear expression and interdisciplinary research that can reach the widest possible audience.
